Two Factor Authentication (2FA / TOTP)

Some websites and services offer one-time passwords (according to the TOTP standard) as a second factor in addition to logging in by entering a user and password.

To do this, you generate a secret key in the website and add a field of type 2FA Key in the corresponding item in Safe + to save this key.

If you then select this field, you will be shown a one-time password that changes every 30 seconds.

You enter this one-time password in addition to the usual login data.

If you use the “AutoFill Passwords” function, Safe + automatically generates a one-time password in the background and copies it to the clipboard so that you can simply paste it.
